1) How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice

To help us process your request quickly, include the following information in your email:

A. Your signature
Provide a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

B. Identification of the copyrighted work
Describe the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed. If multiple works are involved, you may provide a representative list. When possible, include a link to an authorized version of the work (for example, the publisher’s page or your own official page).

C. Identification of the allegedly infringing material
Provide the exact URL(s) on deep.tube where the material appears, along with enough detail for us to locate it (for example, the headline, publication date, and where the material appears on the page).

D. Your contact information
Include your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.

E. Good-faith statement
Include a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

F. Accuracy and authority statement
Include a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

2) What Happens After We Receive a Valid Notice

When we receive a complete and valid DMCA notice, we may remove or disable access to the material identified in the notice. We may also notify the affected user or contributor, when applicable.

Repeat infringers

Where appropriate, we may restrict or terminate access for users who repeatedly submit infringing material.

3) Counter-Notification (Disputing a Takedown)

If you believe material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice under the DMCA. Your counter-notice must include:

A. Your signature
A physical or electronic signature.

B. Identification of the removed material
A description of the material that was removed or disabled and the URL(s) where it appeared before removal.

C. Statement under penalty of perjury
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

D. Your contact information
Your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.

E. Consent to jurisdiction
A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, for any judicial district in which we may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice (or that person’s agent).

Send counter-notices to: [email protected]

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material within 10–14 business days, unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.

4) Misrepresentations and Abuse of the DMCA Process

Submitting a DMCA notice or counter-notice that knowingly includes material misrepresentations can result in legal liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Please ensure you have the legal right to submit your request and that all statements are accurate.

5) Other Rights and Non-Copyright Issues

The DMCA process applies to copyright claims.

For requests involving privacy, defamation concerns, policy violations, or other non-copyright issues, please use our Content Removal Request process and include the exact URL(s) and relevant context so we can review.
