Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is heading to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027.

Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver have announced Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Royal Edition for Nintendo’s newest console, bringing the studio’s first-person medieval RPG to a portable platform for the first time.

The Switch 2 release will package the base game together with all three premium story expansions: Brushes with Death, Legacy of the Forge and Mysteria Ecclesiae.

It will also include exclusive gear and a bonus questline as part of the Royal Edition.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II follows Henry of Skalitz through 15th-century Bohemia in an open-world RPG built around player choice, grounded combat and a world that reacts to how the player behaves.

Quests can frequently be approached through combat, stealth, persuasion or other solutions, with decisions affecting how characters respond to Henry and how later events unfold.

The game originally launched for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in February 2025.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version is more than a basic conversion.

According to Deep Silver, the port supports Joy-Con 2 mouse controls, allowing players to use Nintendo’s mouse mode in menus and other compatible parts of the game.

The publisher also confirmed HDR support and outlined the target presentation modes for Nintendo’s hardware.

In handheld mode, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Royal Edition is expected to render at a lower internal resolution before being upscaled to 1080p, while docked play can output at up to 1440p.

Those technical details are particularly notable because Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is a large, CPU- and GPU-intensive open-world game on existing platforms.

Warhorse Studios built the sequel around dense settlements, simulated NPC routines, large outdoor environments and systems that continue running as Henry moves through the world.

Bringing that experience to Switch 2 therefore represents a significant technical porting effort rather than simply adapting the user interface for a smaller display.

The Royal Edition also gives Nintendo players the complete post-launch package from the beginning.

Brushes with Death expands Henry’s adventures through a storyline centered on an enigmatic artist.

Legacy of the Forge adds another major questline tied to Henry’s personal history and the blacksmithing legacy of his family.

Mysteria Ecclesiae sends Henry into a monastery-centered mystery, adding another self-contained narrative to the main game.

Deep Silver says all three premium expansions are included in the Switch 2 release along with additional equipment and bonus content.

The announcement currently gives the game a broad 2027 release window.

Neither Warhorse Studios nor Deep Silver has announced an exact release date or price for the Nintendo Switch 2 version.

That distinction matters because the announcement confirms the platform and content package, but not when during 2027 players will be able to buy it.

The Switch 2 edition also continues the expansion of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II beyond its original launch platforms.

For Nintendo players, the Royal Edition should offer the most complete version of Henry’s second journey from day one, while features such as mouse controls and handheld play give the port characteristics that are specific to Nintendo’s hardware.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Royal Edition is scheduled to launch for Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027.
