Stellar Blade is officially making the jump to Nintendo Switch 2 this fall.

SHIFT UP has confirmed that Stellar Blade Complete Edition will launch for Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026, bringing EVE’s post-apocalyptic action adventure to Nintendo’s latest console with the game’s previously released content included.

The announcement also introduced a new Bayonetta collaboration, giving the Switch 2 release an additional crossover alongside the content already bundled into the Complete Edition.

According to SHIFT UP, EVE will receive four new Bayonetta-inspired outfits. Three of them were shown in the new pre-order trailer, while the fourth is being kept secret for a later reveal.

The four outfits will not be exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2. SHIFT UP says they will also be released for PlayStation 5 and PC at no additional cost beginning November 5 at 7:00 a.m. PST / 3:00 p.m. GMT, which corresponds to November 6 at midnight in Korea and Japan.

Pre-orders for Stellar Blade Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch 2 are now open through the Nintendo eShop and participating retailers.

Players who pre-order will receive early access to three cosmetic items for EVE: the Planet Diving Suit (White Edition), Classic Round Glasses and Ear Armor Earrings.

The Complete Edition will be available both physically and digitally for $59.99 in the United States.

SHIFT UP also emphasized that the physical release is not a Game-Key Card. The studio says Stellar Blade will be fully stored on the Nintendo Switch 2 cartridge.

That distinction has become increasingly relevant for physical collectors on Nintendo’s new system, where some boxed releases use Game-Key Cards that require players to download most or all of the game data separately.

For Stellar Blade Complete Edition, SHIFT UP is explicitly positioning the retail version as a complete cartridge release.

The Nintendo Store lists an estimated digital file size of 25.4 GB for the Switch 2 version.

As its name suggests, the Complete Edition includes more than the base game.

It bundles the previously released Stellar Blade x NieR:Automata and Stellar Blade x GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE DLCs, along with a collection of Complete Edition bonuses.

Those bonuses include the Stargazer Suit for EVE, Stargazer Wear for Adam, Stargazer Coat for Lily, Half-Rim Glasses, Quadruple Rectangle Earrings, a Stargazer Pack for the Drone, 2,000 SP EXP and 5,000 Gold.

SHIFT UP is also producing a limited-edition SteelBook with new key art. The company says quantities will be limited, with pre-orders available through participating retailers and Panax.

The Nintendo Switch 2 release gives Stellar Blade another major platform after its original PlayStation 5 launch and subsequent arrival on PC.

The game follows EVE, a member of the 7th Airborne Squad who descends from an off-world Colony to reclaim Earth after humanity is driven from the planet by creatures known as the Naytiba.

Combat centers on fast melee encounters, parries, evasive movement, unlockable skills and weapon upgrades, while the story gradually expands beyond EVE’s initial mission as she uncovers what happened to Earth.

The Switch 2 version preserves that core game while packaging its post-launch additions into a single release.

The new Bayonetta collaboration gives the November launch an extra point of interest, particularly because the crossover cosmetics are being released simultaneously across Switch 2, PS5 and PC rather than being locked to Nintendo’s platform.

Nintendo’s official listing confirms the November 5 release date and identifies SHIFT UP as the publisher. The store page also lists TV, tabletop and handheld play, HDR support on compatible televisions and cloud save support through Nintendo Switch Online.

For players who waited for a Nintendo version, the release is therefore more than a straightforward port: it arrives as the Complete Edition, includes the major crossover DLCs, adds new Bayonetta content and offers a full-cartridge physical option.
